With a SIP trunk for Microsoft Teams, byon is particularly catering to small and medium-sized enterprises. The successor to Skype for Business is currently regarded as one of the most sought-after tools for strategic teamwork within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Microsoft Teams can also be used as a telephone. And this is precisely where byon’s solution comes in: we have set up a SIP trunk on our SBC (Session Border Controller) and ‘integrated’ it with Microsoft Teams.
This allows you to be reached via your usual telephone number – simply launch the Microsoft Teams client to do so.
Important: byon SIP for teams requires Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium licences, Office licences, or Microsoft E1 or E3 licences – along with the EU/Phone Standard or Business Voice telephone system. These provide the necessary services for connecting our SBC (Direct Routing) to Microsoft Teams.
In addition to our services and the option of external calling in Microsoft Teams via our product, byon SIP for Teams, we also offer Microsoft licences for purchase.
